How Link Tracking Works
When you click certain links on our site, a tracking cookie or URL parameter identifies that the visit came from WebHostWise. If you complete a qualifying purchase within the provider's tracking window, we receive a commission from that provider. The price you pay is unaffected — commissions are paid by the hosting company, not added to your bill.
How This Affects Our Reviews
Our testing methodology, described on our About page, is applied identically regardless of whether a provider pays a commission. Hosts that don't have an affiliate program with us are reviewed under the exact same criteria as those that do.
What we do
- Test every host with the same benchmarks
- Disclose affiliate relationships clearly
- Update reviews when pricing or features change
What we don't do
- Accept payment to change a score
- Rank hosts by commission size
- Publish reviews of products we haven't tested
